Nature Walk

Get back to nature and enjoy an easy stroll along the Timbertown Nature Walk or for those a little more adventurous you can trek out through the forest walking trails to the trestle bridge. These level grade bush tracks follow the creeks and the perimeter of the lake through the tall blackbutt forest. Read plaques along the way and learn interesting facts about the local flora and fauna. Keep your eyes peeled for small lizards, and very large laced monitors, native birds, insects. Fauna that has been sited at Timbertown include platypus, echidnas, quolls, kangaroos, wallabies, variety of lizards and snakes. Plenty of native birds. So keep your eyes open and be careful when walking on these trails.
